The Housing Resource Department is responsible for planning, and assessing housing needs for all communities on the Reservation.
They are responsible for acquiring land, and constructing new units or acquiring existing units to provide affordable, quality housing units for Tribal members and other individuals on the Reservation.
This department administers the Home Improvement Program(HIP, Community Development Block Grant Program(CDBG), the Weatherization Program, Maggie Ashley Trailer Park, Tax Credit Program, (2) Elder Living Centers and the Flathead Finance Program.
This program also oversees the Transitional Living Center.
