ATTENTION SKHA WATER USERS:
Consumer Confidence Reports are available at the Salish & Kootenai Housing Authority office. If you would like a copy of your community system report or have other questions about your water system, stop in or call (406) 675-4491 ext.1508. Copies of annual water reports are available for:
Arlee, Big Arm, Clarice Paul, Dayton, Dixon Agency, Dixon Town, Elmo, Evaro, Gray Wolf Village, Houle Villa, Mission Dam, Pache, St. Ignatius (South side), Schley, Turtle Lake and Woodcock.
MOWING: This is a reminder to SKHA tenants to: mow your lawn at all times when necessary so you are not assessed points. If Maintenance has to mow your lawn you will be charged $100 minimum and violation points will be assessed. This applies to all tenants except: elderly, handi-capped and some multi-complex units.
SPRINKLING: It is necessary for all water users to use the following steps of water conservation, adopted by the Tribal Operation and Maintenance Program to insure water supply to all our customers.
*SPRINKLING HOURS ARE: 7:00 AM TO 11:00 AM and
6:00 PM TO 11:00 PM
*NO IRRIGATION IS PERMITTED BEFORE 7:00 AM OR AFTER 11:00PM
*NO HOME SHALL USE AN OPEN HOSE FOR IRRIGATION
Sprinkling regulations will be enforced throughout the communities. Your cooperation on these steps for water conservation will enable the Salish Kootenai Housing Authority to provide uninterrupted water service to you and your community.
Note: we can monitor the storage tank level at the office; if water storage level drops, sprinkling will be prohibited. Sprinkle at these hours only! Neighborhood watch, violators will be turned in.
* Violators will receive one time written warning.
2nd time water will be shut off, a reconnect fee will be charged
